Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist - IV Certified Job Type Direct Hire An established closed-door Long Term Care pharmacy is expanding its operation in Hilliard, OH, and is seeking two skilled pharmacists to join the team: one IV Lead Pharmacist and one IV Staff Pharmacist. These full-time direct hire positions offer the opportunity to work in a specialized pharmacy setting focused on long-term care patients.
Location:
Hilliard, OH Schedule:
IV Lead Pharmacist:
1st shift, Monday-Friday, flexible between 7:00 AM-3:30 PM or 8:00 AM-4:30
PM IV Staff Pharmacist:
2nd shift, Monday-Friday, flexible between 4:30 PM-12:00 AM or 6:00 PM-2:30
AM Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active Ohio pharmacist license required IV pharmacy certification Experience with Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) handling Background in long-term care pharmacy operations preferred
Responsibilities:
Evaluate medication orders for appropriate drug selection, dosage accuracy, interactions, and administration methods Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to recommend therapy adjustments as needed Maintain detailed patient records including medical, clinical, and laboratory information Investigate and resolve medication-related inquiries in coordination with healthcare teams Supervise medication preparation and ensure compliance with legal and safety regulations Maintain controlled substances registers and uphold secure medication storage Participate in "on-call" duties when required This direct hire opportunity offers the chance to be part of a growing pharmacy operation dedicated to high-quality patient care.
