Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract This opportunity is for a Pharmacist position based in Hood River, OR, scheduled for four 10-hour day shifts per week from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Designed as a contract role lasting at least 13 weeks, the position offers a dynamic work environment supporting patient care and medication management.

Key Responsibilities:

Verify and process medication orders accurately. Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations. Apply pharmacokinetic principles to optimize medication therapy. Collaborate and consult with physicians and nursing staff to provide expert pharmaceutical advice. Utilize healthcare technologies such as EPIC and Pyxis to manage medication records and inventory efficiently.

Desired Qualifications:

Valid Oregon Pharmacist license. Experience with order verification and pharmacokinetics preferred. Proficiency with EPIC and Pyxis systems. Strong communication skills for collaborative healthcare. Ability to work independently within a fast-paced setting.

Schedule:

Four 10-hour day shifts per week (7:00 AM to 5:00 PM). This contract position is immediately available and seeks candidates ready to start promptly.
