Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Job Type Contract A Long-Term Care pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacist for a contract opportunity supporting skilled nursing, personal care, and hospice facilities. The role offers a consistent schedule and may be extended based on the pharmacy's needs.

• Employment Type:

• Contract

• Assignment:

• 1 month with possible extension; 8-week contract may be considered

• Schedule:

• 40 hours per week

• Pharmacy Hours:

• Monday-Friday 8 AM-6 PM, Saturday 8 AM-4 PM, Sunday 8 AM-3 PM

• Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders entered by data entry technicians
• Verify blister-packed and other packaged medications
• Check sterile and non-sterile medications
• Answer calls from nursing facilities, hospice nurses, and physicians
• Provide clinical guidance and answer medication-related questions
• Count and document controlled substances in the perpetual inventory
• Check emergency medication boxes

• Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license in good standing
• 1+ year of pharmacist experience
• Long-term care experience preferred
• Ability to sit/stand for extended periods and perform fine motor tasks
