•3:00 PM The position involves utilizing pharmacy operating systems including QS1, Docutrack, and PCC to ensure accurate medication dispensing and patient safety.

Key responsibilities include:

Reviewing and verifying orders entered by data entry technicians for skilled nursing facilities, personal care facilities, and hospice Inspecting blister-packed medications as well as sterile and non-sterile pharmaceuticals Responding to phone inquiries from nursing facilities, hospice nurses, and physicians, providing clinical guidance as needed Counting controlled substances and maintaining accurate perpetual inventory records Checking and managing emergency medication boxes

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy Active pharmacist license in good standing in the state of Pennsylvania Minimum of 1 year of pharmacist experience; long-term care (LTC) experience preferred Physical ability to perform duties requiring sitting, standing, fine motor skills, and visual acuity; able to lift up to 30 pounds This contract role offers an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in a dynamic long-term care pharmacy environment.
