•Pharmacist Job Type Contract A licensed pharmacist is needed for a contract role in Chicora, PA, supporting medication management for skilled nursing facilities, personal care facilities, and hospice care. This assignment is initially planned for one month with possible extension and consideration for an 8-week contract.

40 hours per week Monday through

Friday:

8:00 AM

•6:00

PM Saturday:

8:00 AM

•4:00

PM Sunday:

8:00 AM

•3:00

PM Responsibilities:

Review medication orders entered by data entry technicians Verify blister-packed medications, sterile, and non-sterile products Address phone inquiries from nursing facility staff, hospice nurses, and physicians, providing clinical guidance as needed Count controlled substances and document inventory accurately Inspect emergency medication boxes to ensure readiness and compliance

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in pharmacy Active pharmacist license in Pennsylvania in good standing Minimum of 1 year pharmacist experience; long-term care experience preferred Proficient with pharmacy operating systems such as QS1, Docutrack, and PCC Ability to sit, stand, and utilize fine motor skills with good visual acuity Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds when necessary This contract position offers an opportunity to apply your pharmacy expertise in a dynamic healthcare environment, supporting critical medication management functions.
