Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Direct Hire A pharmacy professional is needed to oversee and advance pharmacy operations in Hollidaysburg, PA. This role starts immediately and offers a flexible schedule with variable day and afternoon shifts in a direct hire opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
Foster strong collaboration with store operations to engage pharmacy associates and communicate departmental and company strategies. Verify the accuracy of all prescriptions through thorough Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance, ensuring compliance with state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations. Implement and manage clinical programs to boost script growth, including immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) when available. Partner with pharmacy leadership to maintain optimal inventory levels, track sales, and maximize profitability. Align department goals with seven key performance metrics to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Deliver excellent customer service by assisting with healthcare-related inquiries and counseling. Supervise pharmacists, associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and discipline. Maintain pharmacy security and resolve customer issues to build loyalty and trust. Collaborate with healthcare providers and utilize reference materials to address prescription-related concerns. Maintain a clean, orderly pharmacy environment and promote ongoing staff development to reduce turnover and control labor expenses. Prioritize and complete pharmacy tasks promptly, including cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required Current licensure as a Pharmacist in Pennsylvania Valid Pennsylvania Immunization License This direct hire position offers an opportunity to lead a pharmacy team in a dynamic setting with a flexible schedule.
