Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A healthcare facility specializing as a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center is seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join their team for a 13-week contract starting October 5th. This position offers an opportunity to apply your expertise in a pediatric hospital environment, helping to enhance medication safety and therapeutic outcomes.
Location:
Collierville, TN Schedule:
Day/Evening Shift, 12 PM to 8
PM Duration:
13-week contract beginning 10/5
Key Responsibilities:
Provide consultative services and clinical expertise to evaluate and optimize medication usage and therapeutic outcomes. Promote continual improvement within the pharmacy scope of practice. Process medication orders and prescriptions following appropriate protocols. Advise physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and patients on safe medication administration. Adhere to and support development of policies and procedures ensuring medication safety, regulatory compliance, and quality standards. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications /
Desired Experience:
Minimum of 2 years recent pediatric clinical pharmacy experience is required. Active Tennessee pharmacist license. Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Strong understanding of medication safety and regulatory compliance. This contract opportunity is open to local candidates who meet the experience and licensure requirements.
