Inside Sales Representative

Job Description

Build Relationships. Drive Sales. Grow with Legacy Billiards. Legacy Billiards is a leading manufacturer of premium pool tables, shuffleboards, and game room furniture. We're looking for an energetic, motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our growing sales team and play a key role in building relationships and driving our continued success. This is more than a traditional inside sales position. You'll be a frontline ambassador for the Legacy Billiards brand, working directly with retail partners and wholesale accounts to strengthen relationships, identify opportunities, and help customers succeed. Key Responsibilities Serve as a primary point of contact for eCommerce, e-tailer, retail, and wholesale customers, responding to sales questions, product inquiries, and customer service needs. Process and accurately enter all eCommerce and e-tailer sales orders, ensuring orders are complete and ready for fulfillment. Monitor Live Chat, email, website inquiries, and other inbound channels to respond to customer questions and identify sales opportunities. Proactively follow up with eCommerce prospects and customers through a structured CRM and follow-up calendar, nurturing relationships from initial inquiry through purchase and beyond. Follow up on eCommerce orders prior to release to identify additional sales opportunities, including offering applicable cart add-on discounts. Maintain ongoing communication with eCommerce customers to encourage repeat business, customer engagement, and product reviews. Assist in developing and implementing email and drip marketing campaigns for customers who have requested ongoing communications from Legacy Billiards. Manage pre-processing documentation and installation-related paperwork for larger eCommerce orders. Process and distribute tracking information for all eCommerce and e-tailer orders, keeping customers informed throughout the delivery process. Manage sales activities and relationships for assigned wholesale accounts Proactively communicate with assigned dealers regarding promotions, new products, upcoming events, order status, and other sales opportunities. Follow up with dealers after shipments are received to confirm product status and address any questions or concerns. Identify and communicate quality control issues to the appropriate QC Specialist and coordinate accounting-related matters with the Accounting Department. Assist with accounts receivable follow-up by communicating with dealers regarding overdue balances and coordinating payment resolution with Accounting before additional orders are processed. Monitor dealer credit limits and ensure accounts remain within approved terms when placing subsequent orders. Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and dealer information within the company database and CRM, utilizing CRM tools for scheduling calls, follow-ups, and account reminders. Conduct regular market research by monitoring eCommerce sites, retailers, competitors, promotions, pricing, product changes, and emerging sales trends. Develop a strong knowledge of Legacy Billiards products, policies, promotions, and procedures to confidently and professionally communicate with customers, dealers, and internal team members. Support the Collierville showroom with product displays, product assembly, and new product reviews. Participate in regular sales and performance review meetings with management. Represent Legacy Billiards at Dealer Shows, BCA Shows, and other industry events as needed, including assisting with setup, product displays, and teardown. Build strong, long-term relationships with customers and dealers by providing responsive, knowledgeable, and solutions-focused service. Our Sales Approach This is not a cold-calling position. The focus is on responding to inbound opportunities, developing existing customer and dealer relationships, following up consistently, and finding ways to grow sales through exceptional service and proactive communication. What You Bring:
Sales & Customer Service :
Strong sales acumen combined with a genuine commitment to providing exceptional customer service and building lasting client relationships.
Sales Experience :
Minimum of one year of retail sales or inside sales experience, preferably selling higher-ticket home goods such as furniture, appliances, outdoor products, or similar products.
Communication :
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong active-listening abilities and professional phone etiquette.
Product Knowledge & Selling Skills :
Ability to learn, understand, and confidently communicate product features, benefits, specifications, and value to customers.
Customer Focus :
Ability to respond to customer questions, requests, and complaints professionally, promptly, and with a solutions-oriented approach.
Technology :
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, along with strong general computer skills.
CRM & ERP
: Experience navigating CRM and ERP systems for customer management, sales activity, order processing, and follow-up.
Organization :
Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple customers, orders, and follow-ups simultaneously.
Data & Accuracy :
Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately perform data entry, maintain customer records, and work with sales and customer information.
Problem Solving :
A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to identify issues, resolve customer concerns, and know when to involve the appropriate internal team.
Multitasking :
Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Teamwork :
