Job Description

Description Robert Half's Technology division is seeking a Pharmacy Systems Engineer / Pharmacy Technology SME on behalf of our healthcare client. HYBRID - Contract - 12+ months We are seeking a hands-on pharmacy technology professional to support critical pharmacy systems, application enhancements, integrations, upgrades, and operational initiatives. This role combines technical expertise, systems support, implementation leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to help ensure pharmacy technology solutions align with business and operational needs. This is not a Project Manager role. The ideal candidate will have direct experience supporting pharmacy technology platforms, troubleshooting system issues, administering applications, participating in implementations, and serving as a technical resource for pharmacy operations. Responsibilities

+ Serve as the primary technical SME for pharmacy applications and pharmacy-related technology systems

+ Support application administration, configuration, upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance

+ Partner with technical teams and vendors on integrations, testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution

+ Gather requirements and help translate operational needs into technology solutions

+ Participate in system implementations, upgrades, and optimization initiatives

+ Create and maintain documentation, process flows, and technical requirements

+ Support user acceptance testing, validation activities, and deployment efforts

+ Collaborate with pharmacy operations, IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to improve workflows and system performance Requirements Qualifications

+ Experience supporting pharmacy technology platforms and pharmacy operations

+ Strong understanding of pharmacy workflows and medication management processes

+ Experience with application support, system administration, implementations, or healthcare technology projects

+ Ability to troubleshoot technical and workflow-related issues

+ Experience working with vendors, technical teams, and operational stakeholders

+ Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
