Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem A healthcare facility is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to provide per diem coverage for vacation periods. This role supports medication management services in a nursing home setting that serves approximately 50 residents. The ideal candidate will have recent pharmacy experience and hold an active Virginia pharmacist license.
Location:
Manassas, VA Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Specific coverage needed on August 5, 6, 7, 10, and 11
Responsibilities:
Verify and accurately process prescriptions to ensure resident safety and compliance Collaborate with healthcare team members to maintain high standards of medication management Utilize Point Click Care computer system to manage pharmacy records and documentation Provide oversight and guidance to pharmacy technicians on-site
Desired Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a licensed pharmacist Clear and active pharmacist license for Virginia Familiarity working in a nursing home environment is preferred Proficiency with Point Click Care or similar pharmacy computer systems Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Support Team:
