Day shift, 40 hours per week Monday through Friday On-call responsibilities required No weekend coverage

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) and sole pharmacy staff member on-site Manage all pharmacy operations including audits and medication restocking Utilize Epic for order entry and Omnicell for automation in a specialized 7-bed Emergency Department and 8-bed inpatient micro-hospital Ensure compliance with regulatory standards while maintaining a high level of patient care Collaborate remotely with local PIC and Pharmacy Director for orientation and ongoing support

Qualifications:

Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Wisconsin (WI licensure required) Proven inpatient pharmacy experience with the ability to perform comprehensive PIC duties independently Familiarity with Epic order entry and Omnicell medication systems preferred Strong organizational and audit skills Ability to handle sensitive compliance issues with integrity, including those related to controlled substance management This interim role is vital for maintaining safe and efficient pharmacy practice within the facility, offering a chance to lead pharmacy operations without sterile compounding duties involved.
