Reporting directly to the Director of Pharmacy, this role offers a vital opportunity to oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations, ensuring smooth functioning and efficient service delivery. This position is based in Oxnard, CA, with a focus on supporting high-quality patient care in a dynamic hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Director of Pharmacy by serving as their right-hand in managing daily pharmacy operations. Oversee employee scheduling, ensuring adequate staffing and coverage across shifts. Address operational issues promptly and collaboratively to maintain workflow and patient safety. Utilize Cerner IT systems to support pharmacy processes and documentation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to streamline pharmacy services in the inpatient setting.

Desired Qualifications:

Proven experience in pharmacy management, preferably within a hospital or inpatient environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage staff scheduling and resolve operational challenges. Proficiency with Cerner or similar healthcare IT systems. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with hospital regulatory standards and pharmacy compliance.
