Job Description

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A pharmacy technician opportunity is currently available to provide essential support for maternity leave coverage. This contract position offers a focused assignment lasting approximately 5-6 months, with a start date as soon as possible. The role is well-suited for candidates based near Fresno, CA, with work located in Selma, CA.

Friday Key Responsibilities:

Accurately preparing and dispensing medications under the supervision of pharmacists Managing prescription processing and verifying information for retail pharmacy customers Maintaining inventory and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards Assisting in customer service and addressing patient inquiries related to prescriptions Supporting pharmacy team operations to ensure smooth workflow

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a pharmacy technician in retail pharmacy settings Familiarity with prescription processing systems and pharmacy operations Ability to work efficiently and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills for effective patient and team interactions Valid pharmacy technician certification/license as required by state regulations
