This role serves as the right hand to the Director of Pharmacy (DOP), ensuring smooth and efficient pharmacy operations aligned with organizational standards. Located in a 300-bed regional medical center, this position requires strong leadership skills and hands-on involvement with pharmacy staff scheduling and problem resolution throughout the day. The pharmacy uses Cerner technology, so familiarity with this system is beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with the Director of Pharmacy to manage daily pharmacy activities and operational workflows Develop and maintain employee schedules to meet staffing needs and regulatory compliance Address and resolve operational issues promptly to maintain continuous, high-quality pharmacy services Support initiatives for staff training, performance management, and process improvements Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and quality standards within the inpatient pharmacy setting

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Proven experience in pharmacy management, preferably within hospital or inpatient environments Strong operational leadership and team-building abilities Knowledge of pharmacy systems, preferably Cerner Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
