Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract A healthcare facility in Englewood, CO is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support their pharmacy team. This contract opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with hands-on experience in retail pharmacy settings who can ensure accurate medication dispensing and excellent patient service.
Responsibilities:
Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications in compliance with safety protocols Process prescriptions accurately using pharmacy software systems Manage inventory, including stocking shelves and verifying medication expiration dates Provide patients with clear information on their medications and respond professionally to inquiries Maintain confidential patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations Support daily pharmacy operations to enhance workflow efficiency and patient care quality
Qualifications:
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential required Proven experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or community pharmacy environment Strong understanding of pharmacy laws, drug names, dosages, and pharmacy operations Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with healthcare staff and customers Attention to detail with strong organizational abilities
Location:
Englewood, Colorado This contract position offers the chance to contribute your pharmacy expertise in a professional healthcare setting.
