We are currently seeking a Pharmacy Claims Specialist / Claims Adjudication Coordinator to join our Pharmacy Operations team in Smyrna, GA. About the Role As a Pharmacy Claims Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring patients receive timely access to their medications by accurately processing prescription claims, resolving insurance rejections, identifying copay assistance opportunities, and supporting pharmacy billing operations. This role works closely with our Pharmacy, Prior Authorization, and Patient Engagement teams to resolve insurance-related issues, support medication access, and ensure claims are processed accurately and efficiently. What You'll Do Process and resolve prescription insurance claims, including primary, secondary, and tertiary billing. Investigate and resolve insurance rejections and claim-related issues. Review patient accounts for missing prescriptions, billing discrepancies, and copay assistance opportunities. Apply manufacturer copay cards and financial assistance programs when available. Collaborate with Pharmacy, Prior Authorization, and Patient Engagement teams to resolve medication access issues. Review claim accuracy and ensure proper billing sequence and reimbursement. Perform quality assurance reviews to ensure claims are processed accurately and compliantly. Run and analyze reports to identify and correct claim exceptions. Support departmental productivity, quality, and compliance goals. Provide administrative and operational support to the team as needed. What We're Looking For Active Georgia Pharmacy Technician Registration (required) Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy technician experience Experience with insurance claims, prescription processing, pharmacy billing, or prior authorizations preferred Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements PTCB certification preferred Medical billing or 340B experience is a plus Why Work for Us?
