Role Overview:

Seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support retail pharmacy operations under supervision, performing clerical, inventory, and sales duties. Responsibilities include processing prescriptions, entering customer and insurance data, managing inventory, and completing workflow steps using pharmacy systems. The role involves handling transactions, managing stock, and ensuring accurate prescription processing, including manual and automated dispensing.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform clerical tasks such as sending/receiving tubes, filing prescriptions, and processing mail. Input customer, insurance, and prescription information; facilitate prescription transfers. Sell prescriptions, handle cash, manage payments, and reconcile transactions. Order, stock, and rotate inventory; perform cycle counts and remove expired products. Complete data entry, contact management, and basic compounding activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

High School Diploma or GED required. No prior experience necessary. Must hold a State Board of Pharmacy registration.
