Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity seeks an Interim Pharmacy Manager for a smaller rural hospital setting in New Hampshire. Reporting directly to the COO, this role oversees all pharmacy operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing staff, and leading strategic initiatives to support excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations with a focus on efficiency and patient safety Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and maintain quality standards Oversee pharmacy human resources matters including staffing and performance Develop and manage departmental budget and resources Represent the pharmacy department in leadership meetings and cross-departmental projects Lead various pharmacy projects and initiatives to improve services and processes Supervise a team of 5 full-time pharmacy professionals
Desired Qualifications:
Strong hospital pharmacy management experience, preferably with prior leadership roles Demonstrated ability to quickly obtain New Hampshire pharmacy licensure (candidates without an existing NH license are welcome) Excellent organizational and leadership skills Ability to work effectively in a rural hospital environment Commitment to regulatory compliance and quality assurance
