•Pharmacy Manager Job Type Contract A Pharmacy Manager position is available for a retail pharmacy location in Oneonta, NY. This is a contract opportunity with options for interim or permanent placement and offers a structured schedule supporting a balanced workweek.

PM Closed Sundays Key Responsibilities:

Register as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board of pharmacy. Ensure pharmacy compliance with all federal, state, board of pharmacy regulations, and company policies. Oversee pharmacy operations including budget management, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory to meet financial goals. Engage in business development initiatives both in-store and within the community. Manage performance and training of pharmacy support staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate standards. Participate in patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs. Provide counseling to patients and healthcare providers regarding drug usage, interactions, and side effects. Maintain continuous quality improvement activities to safeguard patient safety. Uphold cleanliness and organization of pharmacy and workstations per company guidelines. Complete required continuing education as per state law. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience:

Valid New York State Pharmacist License. Immunization Certification with demonstrated competency in administering all vaccines. Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager preferred. Strong leadership and organizational skills.
