About the Role We are recruiting licensed pharmacists to serve independent retail pharmacies across Maryland, Washington D.C., and Pennsylvania. Assignments range from single-day relief to recurring part-time and direct-hire placements — you choose the schedule and locations that fit your life. New graduates are welcome to apply. Responsibilities Review, verify, and accurately dispense prescription medications per federal and state regulations Counsel patients on medication use, dosage, side effects, and drug interactions Perform final verification of prescriptions filled by technicians Administer immunizations and clinical services where permitted Oversee pharmacy workflow, inventory, and controlled-substance handling Ensure compliance with HIPAA and state board of pharmacy regulations Supervise and support pharmacy technicians Requirements Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy from an accredited institution Active pharmacist license in at least one of: Maryland, Washington D.C., or Pennsylvania (multiple states a plus) Immunization certification (or willingness to obtain) CPR/BLS certification preferred Knowledge of pharmacy laws and best practices Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and patient-counseling skills Ability to work independently in a retail setting Reliable transportation to assignment locations New graduates: Recent PharmD graduates licensed (or license-eligible) in MD, DC, or PA are encouraged to apply.
