Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Clinical Pharmacist Supervisor (RPh Supervisor), where you will lead and oversee clinical pharmacy services within a high-acuity hospital setting. Your expertise in critical care, hospital pharmacy, and pharmaceutical regulations will be instrumental in shaping our pharmacy services to meet the highest standards of excellence. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily clinical pharmacy operations across various departments including ICU, emergency room, oncology, and pediatrics to ensure seamless medication therapy management. Provide expert consultation on complex pharmacotherapeutics, pharmacology, physiology, and anatomy to support patient assessment and care plans. Oversee medication preparation and IV infusion processes, ensuring aseptic technique and proper drug regulation compliance. Lead efforts in pharmaceutical regulatory compliance, including documentation, audits, and adherence to hospital policies and state/federal regulations. Mentor and precept pharmacy residents, interns, and staff pharmacists to foster professional growth and maintain high standards of practice. Collaborate with healthcare providers on acute pain management, emergency interventions, ICU protocols, and specialized areas such as oncology or pediatrics. Utilize Hospital Pharmacy Information Systems (PIS) and Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) to optimize medication dispensing, patient documentation, and data analysis. Participate in hospital committees focused on medication safety, formulary management, or quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient service delivery. Qualifications Valid pharmacist license (RPh) with current registration in the state of practice. Extensive clinical pharmacy experience in hospital settings with a focus on critical care environments such as Level I Trauma Centers or Level II Trauma Centers. Proven expertise in managed care principles and pharmaceutical regulatory compliance. Demonstrated experience in ICU, emergency room settings, PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), or post-residency practice environments. Strong knowledge of pharmacology, physiology, anatomy, drug regulation policies, and medical terminology relevant to acute care scenarios. Hands-on experience with IV compounding techniques, aseptic procedures, medication administration protocols, and EMR/EHR systems. Skilled in patient assessment strategies for diverse populations including pediatrics and oncology patients. Experience precepting pharmacy students or residents is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills coupled with leadership ability to manage multidisciplinary teams effectively. Pay:
