This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a dedicated healthcare team serving our nation's military community while expanding your skills in a dynamic inpatient pharmacy environment. Job Duties As a Pharmacy Technician, you will perform inpatient pharmacy duties, including but not limited to: Entering medication orders into electronic health record systems Compounding intravenous (IV) medications Compounding chemotherapy IV medications Conducting ward and clinic inspections Maintaining pharmacy automation systems Delivering Pyxis medications and patient orders to wards and clinics Supporting pharmacy operations while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and procedures Minimum Qualifications Education Certificate from a formal Pharmacy Technician program accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP ) ; or Certificate from a formal Pharmacy Technician program (technical, hospital-based, or retail-based); or Completion of a formal medical services training program of the United States Military. Certification Current certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB). Certification in Basic Life Support Experience Minimum of one (1) year of experience within the last 36 months as a pharmacy technician.
