Job Responsibilities:
Answer Inbound calls to the Pharmacy Communicate with Patients regarding their medication orders, including verifying order status Respond to requests and communicate with Center staff regarding patient medication orders Assists with stocking and inventory tasks Place medication refill order in computerized system at patient request Submit request for special orders as needed Track medication packages in various vendor systems such as UPS Research order status and delivery at patient or center request Inactivate patient accounts in computerized system Process patient address changes, ensuring accurate address information
Requirements:
Strong verbal and written communication in order to successfully operate phones and computers Problem solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Adequate typing skills (typically 30-40 wpm) Ability to successfully complete Pharmacy Technician Training program and obtain Pharmacy Technician Registration within required timeframe
Education and Experience:
Graduate from an accredited high school or equivalent Minimum of one-year clerical/office experience
