Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract To Hire Support sterile compounding operations and pharmacy workflow in a fast-paced environment serving infusion and specialty pharmacy patients. This contract-to-hire position requires a Certified Pharmacy Technician with strong expertise in sterile compounding, aseptic technique, and inventory management.

Starke, FL Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30

Contract to Hire (13+ week)
Responsibilities:
Prepare sterile compounded medications under pharmacist supervision, adhering to USP and USP standards Maintain aseptic technique and cleanroom procedures to ensure safety and quality Accurately perform pharmacy calculations and prepare compounded products Assist with labeling, packaging, and shipment of infusion medications Maintain compounding logs, batch records, and quality assurance documentation Monitor inventory, assist with ordering and receiving medications and supplies Support expiration date monitoring and product rotation processes Maintain cleanroom equipment and coordinate environmental monitoring activities Help process medication orders and prescription fulfillment Ensure compliance with State Board of Pharmacy regulations, DEA, OSHA, and company policies Participate in staff meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and training programs Provide excellent customer service to patients, healthcare providers, and internal teams
Qualifications:
Active Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician license required National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or ExCPT) preferred Minimum 1 year experience in sterile compounding, home infusion, hospital, or oncology settings Knowledge of sterile compounding principles, USP and standards, and aseptic technique Strong mathematical skills for medication preparation Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and organizational skills Proficiency with pharmacy management systems and technology If you meet these qualifications and are ready to contribute your sterile compounding expertise, apply today to advance your pharmacy technician career in a challenging and rewarding environment.
