Job Description
Duties
- Assist the pharmacist in dispensing medications to patients
- Prepare and package medications for distribution
- Maintain accurate patient records and prescription information
- Answer phone calls and address customer inquiries
- Provide excellent customer service and patient care
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication administration
- Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of pharmacy procedures Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy procedures
- Familiarity with medication administration and dosage calculations
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient service
