Full Job Description Overview:

Symbria Rx Services is seeking a PRN Pharmacy Technician to add to our growing team at our Pharmacy located in Woodrige, IL ! Symbria services long-term care settings such as: Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, Memory care, Developmental communities and many more specialized live-in settings.

Position Details:

Weekdays 6:00pm to 2:30am 100% on-site

Responsibilities:

Assists the pharmacist(s) on duty as their primary responsibility; performing these duties as priority. Fills orders accurately and efficiently in a timely manner, under the supervision of a pharmacist. Develops knowledge of pharmacy policies and procedures and complies with them. Any and all duties as assigned by pharmacists or managers.

Duties:

Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot pharmacy automated packaging systems. Manage inventory, restock meds, monitor system usage, and recommend items/formulary adjustment within the automated packaging systems. Perform quality assurance checks on medication strips and correct any machine or user errors. Organize medication strips in clients' communities according to their specifications. Monitor and maintain consumables for automated packaging systems. Meet daily deadlines of scheduled medication deliveries.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, the ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily is necessary and the qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required: High School diploma or general education degree (GED). Knowledge of business English, spelling and commercial arithmetic with ability to write in a clear and legible manner. Professional interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to interpret and follow oral and written instructions. General computer knowledge including Windows applications. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a flexible schedule as operational needs dictate, including nights, weekends, and holiday Qualifications preferred: Pharmacy experience; minimum one year. Why work for us?
