Summary:

The Senior Pharmacy Technician - Certified role is responsible for ensuring efficient pharmacy operations and exceptional patient care within a hospital, infusion, retail, or specialty pharmacy setting. The Senior Pharmacy Technician - Certified role assists in training, mentoring, and coaching pharmacy technicians, technician trainees, and pharmacy interns to uphold departmental standards, foster professional growth, and maintain regulatory compliance. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

License/Certifications:

Current or eligible for applicable state(s) license as a Pharmacy Technician. Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) CPhT certification or National Healthcareer Association (NHA) ExCPT certification required.

Experience:

One year of experience as a licensed pharmacy technician.
