Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Pharmacy Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care. In this energetic role, you will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, managing medication inventory, and ensuring compliance with all pharmaceutical regulations. Your expertise will support both hospital and community pharmacy settings, contributing to safe, efficient, and patient-centered pharmacy services. Responsibilities Prepares intravenous admixtures or other sterile drug products (including antineoplastic, investigational and hazardous medications) in accordance with USP chapters <797> and <800> under supervision of a licensed Pharmacist. Prepares or compounds non-sterile drug products (including antineoplastic, investigational and hazardous medications) in accordance with USP chapters <795> and <800> under supervision of a licensed Pharmacist. Utilizes closed system transfer devices to limit potential exposure of the environment to hazardous medications. Follows investigational protocols in the preparation of study medications, maintains records of preparation, stability, and dispenses as required. Maintains the hardware and software of the department's multiple computer systems.
