Job Description

IPPC Pharmacy is seeking a full time a Pharmacy Technician for Data Entry. Candidates must be a team player, with an excellent work record of dependability and punctuality. Must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task effectively. The following shifts are available Sunday through Thursday 12pm-8pm

Pharmacy Data Entry Technician Responsibilities:

To ensure patients prescriptions are entered precisely and in a timely manner. Answers the telephone when needed to respond to customer needs and requests. Works with the pharmacy technicians and pharmacists to understand pharmacy workflow process in order to expedite prescription orders. Follows through with clarification on orders until they are complete. Follows all company policies and procedures. Complies with all applicable state and federal regulations related to pharmacy practices. Performs other duties assigned. 1. High School diploma or equivalent. 2. Previous data entry experience preferred. 3. Previous pharmacy or a health care setting experience preferred. 4. Current New Jersey Pharmacy Technician License. 5.
