Full-Time Pharmacy Technician - Ideal for Gap Year Health Track Student Marlboro Village Pharmacy is seeking a recent college graduate or gap-year student pursuing a future career in healthcare, including: Pre-med Pre-PA Pre-pharmacy Nursing Public health Other health professional tracks This is an excellent opportunity to gain meaningful hands-on healthcare experience while working closely with pharmacists, patients, and providers in a fast-paced community setting. Responsibilities Assist pharmacists with prescription processing and medication preparation Provide excellent customer service to patients Handle prescription intake, insurance processing, and inventory management Communicate with physician offices and insurance companies Maintain pharmacy organization and workflow efficiency Support daily pharmacy operations and patient care initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from US institution is required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented and organized Ability to multitask in a busy environment Professional, reliable, and team-oriented Prior pharmacy experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate Pharmacy Technician registration/certification preferred or willingness to obtain What We Offer Valuable real-world healthcare experience Mentorship from experienced pharmacists Strong clinical and patient interaction exposure Friendly and supportive team environment Opportunity for future recommendation letters for graduate/professional school applicants
