About us Oceanport pharmacy is a family owned independent pharmacy that has been serving the community for over 20 years. We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to became a part of our team! You will assist in the preparation of medications under the direction of a pharmacist.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare medication and other healthcare products for patients
- Measure dosage of medications, according to prescription orders
- Process prescriptions and insurances using computer software
- Label and record dosage information
- Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies
- Sell prescriptions and other over the counter items to patients
- Assist pharmacist with immunizations and clinics
- Working with medical practices to assist in prior authorizations and MTMs
- Delivery of medications
Qualifications:
- Highschool diploma or higher education
- Driver's License
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Highly proficient in computer skills
- Proficient in English language
- Pharmacy experience is preferred
