Working alongside our Pharmacy Manager and licensed pharmacists, you'll provide exceptional pharmacy and healthcare services in a fast-paced, patient-centric environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare, file, and mail routine pharmacy paperwork with accuracy and efficiency Enter and maintain patient data in computer systems with meticulous attention to detail Fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently, including counting back change and organizing items in proper locations Process transactions and handle cash management with precision Resolve patient concerns while maintaining full compliance with local, state, and federal laws, including 340B program regulations Maintain organized, clean, and well-stocked pharmacy shelves and inventory Verify medication expiration dates and shelf labels with careful visual inspection Neatly label prescription vials and bottles for patient medications Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, team members, and healthcare providers Understand and consistently follow all pharmacy procedures, policies, and legal requirements
Required Qualifications Certification:
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or In-Training Technician with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. Current certification license in good standing required, with commitment to maintain certification as required by law
Language Skills:
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required
Experience:
Minimum two (2) years of equivalent pharmacy or healthcare experience
Education:
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and pharmacy management software (Athena Health or similar platforms)
Physical Requirements:
