Job Description

Description Position Overview We are seeking a Pharmacy Care Technician to support members, pharmacies, providers, and clinical teams in a fast-paced healthcare call center environment. This position handles high-volume inbound and outbound calls related to medication adherence, prescription refills, provider follow-up, and other pharmacy-related needs. The ideal candidate has an active Pharmacy Technician License, previous pharmacy or healthcare experience, and strong customer service skills. Responsibilities

+ Handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls with members, pharmacies, providers, and clinical teams.

+ Conduct outreach related to medication adherence and prescription refills.

+ Follow up with providers regarding prescriptions and medication-related requests.

+ Review prescription claims and supporting documentation.

+ Assist with Medicare prescription drug-related questions and issues.

+ Review and document prescriber notes and pharmacy-related information.

+ Navigate multiple systems while accurately documenting interactions.

+ Assist with escalated member and provider inquiries.

+ Maintain professionalism and provide excellent customer service in a metrics-driven environment.

+ Follow HIPAA, privacy, quality, and compliance requirements.

+ Meet established attendance, productivity, quality, and schedule expectations. Requirements Required Qualifications

+ High School Diploma or GED.

+ Active Pharmacy Technician License - REQUIRED.

+ At least 1 year of experience working in a pharmacy setting.

+ At least 6 months of call center or high-volume customer service experience.

+ Knowledge of pharmacy and/or medical terminology.

+ Experience using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.

+ Basic computer and system troubleshooting skills.

+ Strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.

+ Ability to work fully onsite in San Antonio, TX.

+ Ability to work the required weekday shift and rotating Saturdays.

Schedule Monday-Friday:

10:00 AM-7:00

PM CST Rotating Saturdays:

9:00 AM-6:00 PM CST This is a full-time, fully onsite contract opportunity currently expected to run through the end of the year.
