  • Draw blood samples from patients, including pediatric and geriatric populations, following established safety and procedural standards
  • Prepare specimens for laboratory testing with attention to accuracy and proper documentation
  • Explain procedures to patients to create a trusting and comfortable environment
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all specimen collections and related activities
  • Ensure a safe and professional environment at all times
  • Demonstrate leadership behaviors while focusing on process excellence and confidentiality
  • Perform accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, working independently with minimal supervision
  • Maintain organizational commitment and a positive image with patients and staff Required Skills
  • Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques, including pediatric and geriatric blood collection
  • Ability to provide error-free work in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong customer service skills and experience in a retail or service environment
  • Keyboard and data entry experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Additional Skills & Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington)
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in phlebotomy required; over one year preferred
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed
