In this role, you will be responsible for performing blood draws and specimen collection at various locations, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety. As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you will play a crucial role in supporting diagnostic testing and patient health by providing convenient and efficient services. Duties Conduct blood sampling using venipuncture and capillary techniques while adhering to aseptic techniques. Collect, label, and process specimens accurately to ensure proper handling and transportation. Maintain knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory procedures to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals. Provide exceptional patient care by ensuring comfort and addressing any concerns during the specimen collection process. Document all procedures accurately in compliance with protocols and laboratory standards. Experience Previous experience in phlebotomy is required. Familiarity with laboratory procedures, medical terminology, and specimen collection processing is highly desirable. Knowledge of patient care practices within a clinical setting is beneficial. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams. Ability to work independently while managing time efficiently in various locations.
