Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC Doctorate of Physical Therapy required Current Alabama Physical Therapist license required Active license in good standing with the state board or licensing agency required AHA BLS or Red Cross certification required 2 years of experience required, or 18 months of experience with 1 year in the field of specialty
