You will enjoy a structured work schedule from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, in a modern facility designed for functional efficiency and patient comfort. Key Responsibilities As a Physical Therapist at Tough Mind Physical Therapy, you will: Adhere to state practice acts and regulations, ensuring compliance and best practices in patient care. Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans for patients with a variety of functional limitations and disabilities. Utilize evidence-based practices to implement treatment protocols, ensuring that you continuously adapt your approach based on patient progress and the evolving healthcare landscape. Engage in clear and effective communication with patients and their families, explaining treatment plans and expected outcomes. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to evaluate and modify treatment plans as necessary, maintaining a holistic approach to patient care. Maintain accurate, detailed documentation of patient care activities, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with regulatory requirements. Participate in discharge planning and follow-up care to ensure seamless transitions for patients from rehabilitation to home or further treatment. Engage actively in facility meetings and participate in organizational initiatives aimed at improving patient access and treatment outcomes. Patient Population / Client Focus At Tough Mind Physical Therapy, we treat a diverse range of patients, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our aim is to help each patient regain mobility and independence, coupled with educating them about their role in their recovery process. Qualifications To be considered for this role, candidates must possess: A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program. A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist. A minimum of two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy. Current CPR certification. Preferred Experience Ideal applicants will have additional skills and experiences to enhance our patient care efforts, such as: Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, facilitating efficient documentation and patient management. Proficiency in a variety of therapeutic modalities and treatment techniques specific to orthopedic rehabilitation.
