This full-time position requires you to work onsite, where you will have access to cutting-edge rehabilitation equipment and resources. Key Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients recovering from various injuries, diseases, or surgeries within our Rehabilitation Center, applying evidence-based physical therapy practices. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, and advanced modalities to alleviate pain and enhance mobility. Continuously monitor patient progress through meticulous tracking and documentation, utilizing EMR software, particularly Web PT, for effective clinical communication and records management. Adjust therapeutic goals and treatment plans as needed, ensuring that patient care is dynamic and responsive to their recovery journey. Assist patients in fitting for, and instructing them on the usage of, assistive devices that enhance self-care and mobility. Educate patients, families, and caregivers, as well as fellow healthcare team members, on appropriate physical therapy protocols and the proper use of therapeutic equipment. Maintain current knowledge in the field by engaging in professional development opportunities, such as workshops and peer networking. Patient Population / Client Focus You will be working with a diverse patient population, including children and adults with varying diagnoses ranging from orthopedic injuries to neurological conditions. Your expertise will enable you to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each patient, ensuring they are engaged and motivated throughout their rehabilitation process. Qualifications A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required. An active Physical Therapist license in Florida, in good standing with no history of sanctions or proceedings. Demonstrated proficiency in a variety of manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities. Strong aptitude for developing and executing individualized exercise programs that facilitate patient recovery. Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR), preferably Web PT, for accurate documentation of patient care. Up-to-date knowledge of contemporary physical therapy practices supported by current research. Preferred Experience Previous experience in a rehabilitation setting or home health care is highly advantageous. Proven track record of successful patient outcomes through effective therapy interventions. Experience collaborating within interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
