Work Environment As a physical therapist at our rehabilitation center, you'll be working onsite within a supportive and collaborative team. Our practice emphasizes an outpatient setting that includes a diverse patient demographic ranging from athletes to individuals recovering from surgery or injury. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, which allows for a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of each patient's physical abilities and limitations to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and goals. Maintain a manageable caseload to provide each patient with dedicated attention, ensuring optimal treatment outcomes. Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to create and implement effective rehabilitation programs. Employ evidence-based practices and cost-effective treatment modalities that focus on improving motion, mobility, and functional performance. Emphasize and educate patients on non-surgical treatment options to enhance their recovery process while minimizing dependence on medication. Create and adapt fitness and wellness programs that address each patient's unique requirements, promoting strength, flexibility, and balance. Implement motivational strategies during treatment sessions to encourage patient adherence and engagement in their rehabilitation journey. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Continuously monitor and evaluate treatment effectiveness, making adjustments to care plans as necessary based on patient progress. Document services provided accurately in EMR systems, especially utilizing Web PT, to maintain comprehensive patient records. Patient Population / Client Focus Our diverse patient population includes athletes, weekend warriors, individuals recovering from surgeries, and those seeking to improve their quality of life through enhanced mobility and function. Qualifications A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required. An active, unencumbered Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida is mandatory. A clean professional record with no history of sanctions or board proceedings. Extensive knowledge of various manual therapy techniques and their applications in outpatient settings. Exceptional ability to design and implement successful exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs. Proficient use of electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT, for accurate documentation and treatment tracking. A strong dedication to staying informed on the latest physical therapy techniques and research advancements. Preferred Experience Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting is highly desirable. Demonstrated history of developing innovative treatment solutions that enhance patient recovery. Experience working in multidisciplinary teams is preferred, underscoring the ability to collaborate effectively. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
