In this itinerant position, youll work on-site across multiple schools, engaging with learners from Pre-K through 12th grade, providing crucial physical therapy services to help them reach their highest potential.

Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized and group physical therapy interventions for students with diverse needs, following IEP goals and state standards Collaborate closely with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support student progress Assess, document, and report on students physical and functional abilities Travel between assigned school sites as needed to ensure consistent care Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student-centered plans Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal documentation and reporting requirements

Qualifications:

Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy Current and valid Physical Therapist license issued by the Florida Department of Health Previous experience within a school-based PT setting preferred Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based pediatric therapy practices Ability to obtain or verify fingerprint clearance; understanding of transfer/renewal procedures for JLA badge and AHCA Clearinghouse Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Flexibility to serve a variety of age groups and manage a dynamic, district-wide caseload This role runs from August 11, 2026 to May 27, 2027, offering up to 37.5 hours per week in a deeply rewarding environment.
