  • $60 an hour 4 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification Customer communication Skilled nursing facility experience Writing skills BLS Certification Outpatient experience Occupational Therapy Patient observation Full Job Description We're currently seeking experienced PRN Therapists to join our healthcare team in the roles of Physical Therapist (PT) and Occupational Therapist (OTR).
The ideal therapist will work diligently to restore function while preventing further decline in patients' ability to perform day to day meaningful tasks. This person must demonstrate strong observation skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and possess the ability to work closely with others in a manner essential to delivering the highest level of care to all patients.
Requirements:
PT or OTR Licensure in the state of GA CPR certified Previous experience in LTC or SNF, preferred Duties Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical and functional status to develop tailored treatment plans. Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to promote patient rehabilitation and recovery. Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals such as physicians, nurses, and other therapists to coordinate patient care. Manage clinical documentation in accordance with medical terminology standards and electronic health records (EHR) systems. Participate in discharge planning processes to ensure seamless transition of care for patients returning home or to community settings. Provide patient education on treatment goals, exercises, and safety precautions to enhance recovery outcomes. Ensure compliance with clinical documentation standards and healthcare regulations while delivering high-quality patient care. Skills Proven experience in outpatient rehabilitation centers or Skilled Nursing facility environments with a focus on patient rehabilitation. Familiarity with inpatient and outpatient care settings along with acute care experience. Ability to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on complex cases involving geriatrics, pediatrics, orthopedics, or neurology. Excellent client communication skills to foster trust and motivate patients throughout their recovery process. Working knowledge of physiotherapy practices including home & community care experience and outpatient clinic procedures. Understanding of discharge planning processes and working within clinical documentation standards for diverse healthcare environments.
