A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Physical Therapist eager to work with a diverse K-12 population. This position offers the chance to support students' growth, mobility, and independence throughout the school year, with a flexible schedule to help maintain a positive work-life balance.
Position Highlights:
Serve a broad K-12 caseload, delivering individualized therapy plans and interventions Convenient location with on-site assignment to be determined 3 days per week, allowing time for work-life harmony Contract runs from start date through late May 2027
Desired Experience and Credentials:
Active Maryland (MD) Physical Therapy License required Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric environment highly valued Ability to collaborate with educational teams, teachers, and families Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Commitment to inclusive, student-focused care
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and evaluate student needs in the school setting Develop and implement physical therapy interventions that promote access to curriculum and participation Collaborate with IEP teams to establish and monitor meaningful student goals Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and district regulations Offer education and training to staff and families to maximize carryover of therapy goals Participate in assessments and meetings as required Imagine bringing your expertise to a supportive and dynamic environment focused on empowering students of all abilities.
