Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a contract opportunity that makes an impact on young lives! This full-time physical therapist position focuses on providing essential support to an infant and toddler caseload. Based at a central district office, you'll collaborate daily with a dedicated team of educators and fellow therapists, shaping positive outcomes for children and their families. The role begins as soon as possible and runs through July 1, 2027, offering stability and meaningful work over several years.
Qualifications:
Valid and active Physical Therapist license in Maryland (MD PT License required) Experience or passion for working with infants and toddlers Knowledge of school-based therapy practices and early intervention strategies Strong communication skills to build partnerships with families and educational staff Organizational abilities for managing caseloads and timely documentation Flexibility and a collaborative mindset to adapt to a dynamic educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct developmental assessments and implement therapy plans tailored to infants and toddlers Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to develop and update individualized education plans (IEPs/IFSPs) Provide direct therapy services, both individually and in small group settings Offer guidance, resources, and support for caregivers and parents Maintain clear, accurate records and comply with state and district documentation standards Participate in evaluation meetings, consultations, and staff development sessions as needed Step into a role that lets your expertise shine while making a lasting difference in the lives of the youngest learners.
