Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting infants and toddlers on a contract basis at a central district office in the heart of the community. This opportunity provides a unique chance to contribute your expertise in early intervention, collaborating closely with dedicated professionals passionate about student growth and family engagement.
Key Qualifications:
Hold an active Maryland SLP license (required) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred Previous experience with infant and toddler populations in schools or early childhood settings a plus Knowledgeable in evaluation, development, and implementation of IFSPs Excellent communication and collaboration skills Driven to foster communication development in young children alongside interdisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and treat children ages birth to three, providing evidence-based speech and language interventions Consult and collaborate with families, caregivers, and related services to support individualized communication needs Document progress and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines Develop and implement IFSPs tailored to each child's developmental goals Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development to refine your practice Enjoy the flexibility of a part-time schedule—work 2-3 days per week and play an essential role in the foundation of these children's educational journeys. The contract is set to begin ASAP and extends through July 1, 2027, allowing you to make a meaningful, lasting difference in the district.
