Desired Experience & Skills:

Licensure in Physical Therapy for the state of Maryland (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience providing PT services in school settings is highly valued Solid understanding of pediatric therapeutic interventions and IEP development Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities for effective teamwork with educators, families, and other specialists Adaptability and creative problem-solving skills to address a variety of student needs Strong documentation and organizational capabilities

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver physical therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to support students educational goals Develop tailored treatment plans based on assessments and regularly evaluate student progress Offer training and insights to staff and families on student care and strategies for improved mobility and function within the school setting Maintain accurate, timely records and uphold compliance with district, state, and federal standards Participate in team meetings and contribute to the IEP process and monitoring This contract role provides the opportunity to work in a supportive academic environment, gaining exposure to a variety of caseloads and professional growth experiences.
