Qualifications:
Masters degree in Physical Therapy is required Current, unrestricted state license to practice as a Physical Therapist (or eligibility to obtain) Strong background in pediatric therapy, preferably in a school-based setting Effective communication skills with diverse audiences, including students, staff, and families Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans Previous experience in educational or pediatric therapy environments a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate students to determine physical therapy needs as part of an educational team Create and deliver individualized treatment plans that help students reach their academic and developmental goals Document progress, attend IEP meetings, and provide recommendations for classroom adaptations Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Participate in professional development to remain current with best practices
