Job Description

Travel Physical Therapist | Full‑Time | Mon-Fri 8:00 AM-4:30 PM | No Weekends/On‑Call Job Overview Home Care Services of Haywood Regional Medical Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Travel Physical Therapist to provide in‑home rehabilitative care across Haywood and Buncombe Counties, NC . This role offers a consistent weekday schedule, mileage reimbursement , and a productivity expectation of 30 points per week .
Pay Rate:
$53/hr Top Responsibilities Skilled PT Interventions — Deliver SOC, evaluations, reassessments, and routine visits in patient homes. Care Planning — Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with physician orders and patient goals. Therapeutic Treatment — Provide gait training, strengthening, balance work, neuromuscular re‑education, and functional mobility training. Documentation — Complete accurate and timely charting, preferably in HCHB . Patient & Caregiver Education — Teach home exercise programs, safety strategies, and functional mobility techniques. Interdisciplinary Collaboration — Communicate with nurses, physicians, and care coordinators to ensure continuity of care. Travel Between Visits — Provide care across multiple counties with reimbursed mileage. Required Qualifications Active NC Physical Therapist License Home Health experience Reliable transportation Preferred Skills HCHB Experience Strong communication and time‑management abilities Ability to work independently across multiple coverage areas

Haywood & Buncombe Counties, NC Mileage:
Reimbursed between visits (first patient to last)
