The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills with comprehensive outpatient knowledge. This role requires a strong foundation in physical therapy principles, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to develop and implement effective care plans tailored to diverse outpatient populations and those recovering from acute care or surgery. Responsibilities Assess patient conditions through detailed evaluations of movement, strength, and functional abilities Develop personalized care plans based on patient needs and treatment goals Administer treatments such as manual therapy, dry needling, orthopedics interventions, and other modalities Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly Educate patients and their families on exercises, mobility techniques, and injury prevention strategies Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate discharge planning and transition of care Document patient interactions accurately using EMR systems in compliance with healthcare regulations Is current with physical therapy practices and participate in ongoing professional development Mentorship and collaboration with other therapists will be provided. Skills Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practice Experience with outpatient orthopedics Proficiency in developing care plans for various conditions Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and patient management Ability to perform discharge planning effectively and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams Skilled in manual therapy techniques Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to treatment delivery Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience working with diverse populations Join Advanced Physical Therapy, to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through expert physical therapy services delivered in a supportive environment.
