Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students across multiple schools by providing high-quality physical therapy services in a supportive, district-wide environment. This full-time contract opportunity, spanning the 2026-2027 school year, offers the chance to work with a diverse K-12 population, ensuring that all learners receive the care and guidance they need to thrive.
Key Qualifications & Requirements:
Valid New Jersey physical therapy license Experience or interest in providing school-based PT services, preferably across K-12 settings Ability to work district-wide and travel between multiple schools as needed Availability to work full-time, 35 hours per week (8:30AM-3:15PM) Completion of all New Jersey onboarding requirements, including TB test, physical, and fingerprints (for both agency and school district) Willingness to participate in a virtual interview via Zoom Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with educators, families, and fellow professionals
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver direct physical therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (teachers, therapists, case managers) to support student achievement Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and track progress Provide consultation, resources, and training to staff and families as needed Travel between assigned schools within the district to provide consistent support This position runs from September 4, 2026, through June 25, 2027, offering a meaningful way to apply your expertise over a traditional academic calendar.
