Job Description

Make a difference this summer by supporting students in an Extended School Year (ESY) program! Bring your expertise in school-based physical therapy to help children achieve their goals in a dynamic educational environment. This contract opportunity is conveniently scheduled from June 29 to July 30, Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm—perfect for professionals looking for flexible summer work. This role is located near the Haskell, NJ area and focuses specifically on providing physical therapy services within a school setting.
Qualifications:
Valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet the diverse needs of students Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for students Deliver direct physical therapy sessions in accordance with IEPs Document progress and maintain accurate records to support student goals Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student success Provide strategies and activities that enhance students' mobility, motor skills, and participation in school routines Participate in team meetings and consultations as needed
